School of Radiologic Technology: Requirements |

Admission Standards
Applicants are admitted regardless of race, age, sex, color, religion, or national origin.
Health
The prospective student must show evidence of good physical and mental health. A physical examination with appropriate immunizations is provided by the hospital. Students are encouraged to provide their own health insurance coverage. Radiation monitoring is provided by the program to the student.
Educational Requirements
Applicants must show evidence of high school graduation or equivalent. It is desirable that the applicant rank in the upper half of the class and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The applicant must have completed, with at least a “B” or higher in two science courses (biology, chemistry, physics) and a “C” or higher in two math courses (algebra and one higher level math course). SAT scores or placement tests are required. The deadline for applying to the program is December 1st.
Personal Interview
A personal interview with program personnel is required and will be scheduled after December 1st. All applicants will be notified by mail of acceptance/non-acceptance to the school.
